I have found that there is some interest in the habits once worn by the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur. Some people ask if I have a habit in the archives–I do–and if they can borrow it–they can’t. For those people who are interested, I do have a small pamphlet written in 1937 by a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur outlining the process to make the full habit. Anyone interested can learn more about sewing one by clicking here. Enjoy!!

  1. Thank you so much for this information. I think I can reduce this pattern.

    • I’m so glad you will enjoy this. Thank you for commenting.

  2. Dear Sr. Kim, Thank you for the e-mail on the Sisters” Habit. I will download the pictures and try to make an habit for a doll. If it works , I will send you a photo of the final product.

    • Hi Jan,
I’m guessing you’re responding to Sr. Kim Dalgarn from Ohio. I’m the archivist for MA, so if you need something from Ohio, let me know.
